An Evening With Joseph and Amanda Boyden


Next month Joseph Boyden and his wife Amanda Boyden will be up North lending their voices to help Aboriginal youth in the North.

The event will take place at the Porcupine campus of Northern College on Thursday, June 4, 2009. This will get started around 7:00pm, tickets are $30 each and available here at Chat Noir Books in New Liskeard. There is also a Door Prize "2 tickets to see a Tragically Hip Concert including air fare and accommodations!"


All proceeds from this event will be directed toward Aboriginal youth education at Joseph's request, the Northern College Foundation offer burseries and The Four Seasons Working Group, which is committed to youth mentorship within education, industry and communities.

Joseph Boyden is the author the Giller Prize winning novel "Through Black Spruce", "Three Day Road" and "Born with a Tooth", his wife Amanda Boyden is the author of "Babylon Rolling" and "Pretty Little Dirty"
