We drove to Timmins for the evening last night to support the Northern College Foundation and the Four Seasons Working Group in their fundraiser for Aboriginal Youth Education. The evening included silent and live auctions as well as Joseph and Amanda Boyden along with a number of local authors reading from their works and discussing writing in general. It was a lovely evening and well worth the drive.

Joseph Boyden is the author the Giller Prize winning novel "Through Black Spruce", "Three Day Road" and "Born with a Tooth", his wife Amanda Boyden is the author of "Babylon Rolling" and "Pretty Little Dirty"
